Final Count for my B.C. Trip- assuming no surprises today!

Added fifteen, count 'em, fifteen Lifers (sixteen if I count my two "½ Lifers", ie the Bewick's Wren and Warbling Vireo!):

• Rufous Hummingbird
• Cinnamon Teal
• Whimbrel
• Brant
• Townsend's Solitaire
• Black Oystercatcher
• Black-headed Grosbeak
• Wilson's Warbler
• Semipalmated Sandpiper
• Chestnut-backed Chickadee
• Western Wood-Pewee
• Barn Owls (saved the best for last!)

Although Mom was out hunting for her three babies, it was truly wonderful to actually see these in the wild, this was the real deal (And for once it's a good thing my sense of smell is MIA, as the stench was horrendous, despite how sweet they may look):

For my Year List, I've added 31 species, unless there are any surprises today when Bryce and I head off to White Rock for a nice lunch overlooking Semiahmoo Bay into the U.S.
